Easter 2014

Happy Easter!  We started out our morning with a breakfast of waffles and strawberries. We filled the cute knitted bunny baskets that Lina's sister, Vicki, sent, and hid those indoors.
Navelle thought it important, even mandatory, to wear her easter bunny ears to enable her to find the hidden treats
Ah ha! The first basket! The yellow stuffing meant that this one was for Arthur.
 Finger puppets and jellybeans.
As soon as the sugar rush set in, we ushered the kids outdoors for some bubbles and running. Thank goodness for the fine weather!
They loved the bubbles and ran and laughed and popped as many as they could reach.Gabe seemed to enjoy himself too.  In fact, it was pretty hard not to enjoy a beautiful morning with kids laughing and candy on hand.

after bubbles, we moved to the backyard for the easter basket and easter egg hunt.

Arthur quickly found his basket and all the goodies inside.
Navelle's job was to find all the hard boiled eggs and leave the plastic eggs for the babies (Arthur and the twins from next door) to find.

She managed to find all 15 hard boiled eggs.
