They started out with a ball of grey clay.
You can see the shape of Navelle's turtle and now she is working on the shell.
The turtles were fired and turned white. The following week we went back and the kids applied glaze. Then the turtles will have another round in the kiln to harden the glaze.
Arthur hung out and had a snack.
Afterwards we went to a nearby playground for a round of swinging, which both kids love to do.
