Bringing Home a Tree

On the way home from Newport we stopped to get our Christmas tree at a huge tree farm in the foothills of the Coastal Range.  We spent a while walking around, searching for the right tree.
The kids got to ride around in a cart, which they loved.  It worked out fantastically until it was time to unload Arthur and he threw a massive fit because he wasn't ready for the fun to end.

Finally, we found just the right tree.  They were all extra pretty, dusted in snow.
The tree we selected had an amazing capacity to seem larger when we put it on the car and then larger again when we brought it inside the house. But it's great. And there will be photos of it decorated, in later posts.
