We found a very large, hollow log washed up on the beach. Goose-neck barnacles carpeted the surfaces of the wood (you can see a few in the bottom left of the photo). Gabe and Navelle are peering through from the far end. It was large enough that they could have crawled through the hollow.

Arthur got his first feel of the beach sand. He really "dug" it. Well, at least until it ended up in his mouth.
Looks like a fabulous day at the beach. Oh-so-jealous! We just got back from my Grammie's a day late due to the mini-blizzard on Sunday! I can't believe how big Arthur is getting already--sitting up on his own and all. Big Hugs to you three!
