Here is Arthur with the things that make him happy: his garbage truck and his blankie. Some friends gave him the garbage truck in October and he has played with it, extensively, each day since then. It has little trash cans that empty into the back, an auger that cranks to move the garbage up into the truck bay, and a dumping feature. This is a very, very special toy to Arthur; if you come over, he will invite you to join him in the wonderful experience of playing garbage truck. Gabe and I often wonder aloud at how many times in a day we hear the words garbage truck and garbage cans.
As for the blankie: the brown blanket is something that Tracy gave to Arthur when he was just days old. He has snuggled with it ever since and it's his A#1 comfort object. For a while it was his "mankie" then it was just "mank" for short, and now it's "blankie." When Arthur get his blankie you can see a wave of happy relaxation wash over his little body. So, here he is on the floor, with his two beloved things, having a most happy morning.
