Ice after snow

A few days after the big snow fell, a warm front collided with the cold front and we ended up with ice. While it was lovely, it was also treacherous. It broke branches and whole trees, it took out power lines. We stood outside and listened to popping and cracking and breaking all around us. Gabe knocked snow off of the bushes in our yard before the ice fell, which spared many of the bushes from damage. He took a few pictures of the trees encrusted in ice.
