Sometimes they sit

The kids are moving for most of their waking hours. But sometimes they do sit to read, or to play with toys.

 Arthur is getting more interested in and adept at stacking and nesting blocks and cups.

A study in red. Navelle has been breaking out of her striped-pants-only clothes selection, opting instead to wear all red clothes--shirt, pants, socks--to dress as a strawberry.  Her favorite color continues to be red. In fact, she has assigned favorite colors to everyone in the house and those assignments are non-negotiable.  Lina=green, Gabe=blue, Arthur=yellow.  These assignments take form when she is drawing, when she is assigning game pieces, or when she's handing out anything that has a mix of colors.
