Arthur, Six Months Old

Arthur is six months old today.  What is he like at this age?  He's happy and roly-poly fat and interested in the world around him.  He likes to gurgle and talk, he likes to cram things in his mouth, he likes to eat (a lot), and he likes to kick and wiggle.  He weighs in at 20 pounds (his sister weighed 16 pounds at the same age) so he's getting heavy to carry around. We find ourselves sitting with him or having him play and kick on the floor. Arthur doesn't come by his size without effort--the kid has got an appetite!  We started him on rice cereal and he's already opening wide and trying to wrestle the spoon away from us. More! More!  One of his favorite games is peek-a-boo behind his bib.  Each time he is happily surprised and laughs when we pull down the bib and say "peek-a-boo"!
