Here is Navelle and her co-pilot, Eemps, preparing for blast-off in their rocket. The couch pillows on either side make up the sides of the rocket, the pillow in front of her with the design is the control panel, and the blanket makes up the roof. The front door (the pillow in the bottom left of photo) was placed into position after the photo. Eemps is wearing her own "bubble helmet" and Navelle made sure to have them both buckled in before blast off. We did the count down together, then they took off in to space. They could see stars and planets like Saturn and then the moon. Once they landed they got off the rocket and on to the rover (a small wagon) and explored the surface of the moon.
