December already! Wow, November went past fast. This weekend we got a tree for the holidays. Since Oregon is one of the nation's top christmas tree suppliers, a good tree isn't hard to come by around here. It's so easy, in fact, that we just had to take our garden cart up the street to a small tree lot owned by a neighbor. He operates it as a charity, with all proceeds going to local organizations. We picked out a tree, cut it, loaded it into our cart and walked home. Navelle loved the whole experience. How wild, bringing an entire tree into the house. Navelle likes the tree so much, in fact, that it's hard to get her to leave the house now.

We decorated the tree together. Navelle enjoyed hanging the ornaments.
She was very careful about handling the ornaments and placing them just so, according to her aesthetic. Most of the ornaments she hung were very concentrated into a small area, low on the tree.
