Our first outing was to a local natural area which was covered in daisies. We found a patch of wild strawberries and Navelle had her first experience picking and eating them. She loved it so much it was hard to convince her to keep moving.
On our second day with Mike we went north to a local wildlife refuge...
...and from there we went wine tasting. yum!
We ended the day relaxing and visiting over good food and very good wine. We had salmon caught off the Oregon coast, local asperagus with morels, and tomatoes and cucumbers from the farmers market, and a bottle of Willamette Valley pinot noir. cheers!
