Strait Fun

While in New York we visited Lina's childhood and for-forever friend, Kristen, and her family.  Given the heatwave, we spent a great deal of time enjoying the backyard pool and the central AC. Navelle took an immediate liking to Kristen's kids, Kathryn and Jonathan. And to their dog, Ralphie.

Gabe and Navelle played with chalk on the driveway. Gabe made some neat drawings based on a character from a story that Jonathan wrote. Navelle mostly ate the chalk.

Kathryn fascinated Navelle. Navelle especially like Kathryn's sparkly shirts and her long hair. Here they are sharing some fun time on the swings.
